Your Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing & Process Control: Oversee and optimize PCB assembly processes for both Surface-Mount Technology (SMD) and Through-Hole Technology (THT).

  • Soldering Expertise: Manage soldering processes including reflow, wave, and selective soldering. You will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and fine-tuning temperature profiles for our reflow ovens.

  • Solder Paste Printing: Handle solder paste stencils and optimize the printing process to prevent defects at the source.

  • Prototyping: Utilize your strong manual dexterity for the manual assembly and fine-pitch soldering of prototypes.

  • Quality & Defect Analysis: Actively identify assembly and soldering defects and perform root-cause analyses to eliminate errors in the manufacturing process.

  • Testing & Inspection: Operate and interpret results from industrial testing systems, including Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), Manual Optical Inspection (MOI), In-Circuit Testing (ICT), and customer-specific functional tests.

  • Data Analysis & Preparation: Process technical data such as Gerber files, Bill of Materials (BOM), and technical drawings to prepare for production.

Your Profile & Requirements

  • The Absolute Must-Have: Deep knowledge of IPC-A-610 (Class 2 and 3) acceptance criteria for electronic assemblies. Experience with Class 3 (medical devices / high reliability without compromise) is strictly required for this role.

  • DFM Mindset: Strong capabilities in Design for Manufacturing (DFM). You can evaluate customer data from a manufacturing perspective and provide well-founded feedback.

  • Component Expertise: In-depth knowledge of component packages, footprints, and solder pads to consult customers on optimal component selection.

  • Traceability Experience: Familiarity with ERP or MES software for the seamless documentation and traceability of component batches and process parameters.

  • Language Skills: Good command of English; basic German is a plus but not mandatory.
